How the tracking works
Slide your Apple AirTag into the silicone case, screw the cover shut and pair the AirTag to your iPhone as normal. Your cat then appears on the map in the Find My app. Once you are close, Precision Finding takes over and gives you an on-screen arrow and distance — "6 m to your right" — so you can walk straight to a cat hiding under a shed rather than searching the whole street. You can also play a sound from the AirTag to draw your cat out.
Please note the AirTag is not included, and tracking requires an Apple AirTag paired to an iPhone or iPad.

How to fit the collar
- Unscrew the AirTag case, drop in your AirTag with the printed side facing out, and screw the cover back down.
- Fasten the breakaway buckle around your cat's neck.
- Slide the adjuster until you can fit two fingers comfortably between the collar and your cat's neck.
- Trim nothing — the strap tucks back through the keeper.
- Re-check the fit weekly on growing kittens, and after any winter coat change.
Frequently asked questions
Is an AirTag included with this collar?
No. The collar includes the waterproof holder, but you supply your own Apple AirTag. This keeps the price down and lets you move an AirTag you already own onto the collar.
Will the AirTag fall out?
It should not. The case is closed with a mechanical screw lock rather than a snap-fit lid, which is the main reason this collar exists — cheaper cases can be flicked open by a cat's back leg. Tighten the cover fully with the included screwdriver before first use.
Is a breakaway collar safe with a tracker on it?
Yes, and it is the safer choice. A breakaway buckle is the veterinary recommendation for cats because it releases if the collar snags. The trade-off is that a released collar stays where it fell — but because the AirTag is attached to the collar, the Find My app will still lead you to it, which usually tells you exactly where your cat was.
What size cat does it fit?
The strap adjusts between 22 cm and 32 cm, which covers most kittens from around four months old up to large adult cats. Measure your cat's neck with a tape measure and add two finger widths.
Is the collar waterproof?
The AirTag case is waterproof and the nylon strap is water-resistant and quick-drying, so rain and wet grass are not a problem.
Can my cat still be seen at night?
The reflective stripe woven into the strap bounces back headlights and torchlight from several metres away, which makes a big difference on dark driveways and roads.
Can I remove the bell?
Yes. The bell hangs from the D-ring and unclips in seconds if your cat dislikes it or you want a quieter house.
Does it fit small dogs too?
It fits toy breeds and puppies with a 22–32 cm neck. For anything larger, or for walking on a lead, use a harness instead of a collar.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life comes from the AirTag itself — Apple rates the replaceable CR2032 cell at about a year. The collar has no electronics and needs no charging.
